This property of 8ha in the centre of Pomerol
belongs to the Estager family since 1952. Michèle Estager and her son François
are now in charge. The terroir consists of clay-gravel and is mainly planted
with merlot. Since 2011, the property has an entirely renewed cuverie (with
different small cuvees) due to a fire in March 2010 that destroyed the cuverie
and the harvest of 2008 and 2009 (partially). The yields are usually low 44hl/ha)
in 2016 and the small tronconic cuvees allow parcel vinification. This was good
to improve the quality in the last years.
