Ch. Léoville Barton
is in fact a part of the big wine domain Léoville, bought by Hugh Barton in 1826.
It is still property of the Barton family. It now belongs to Anthony Barton and
his daughter Lilian. The cru has a magnificent terroir (one of the most
beautiful of the Médoc). Every year, the vinification is done by the rules of
art. The price is still much lower than that of its famous neighbour Léoville
Las Cases.
