This beautiful chateau,
where all vinification material and cellars are integrated, belonged to the
Gardinier family until they sold it to the Belgian Philip Van de Vyvere in 2018.
It is beautifully situated on the banks of the Gironde between Ch. Montrose and
Ch. Calon Ségur. The surface of the vineyard became smaller because of the sale
of 20ha to Ch. Montrose in 2010. It went from 90 ha to 70 ha. The quality of
the terroir shows it. The cru always has a strong frame work, which is why it
is better to let it rest for 5 years so one can enjoy it for the following 10
years. A wine of class which won’t disappoint you!
