This cru is one of
the biggest crus of Moulis with its 70ha. It belongs to Philippe Cuvelier (Ch.
Clos Fourtet) since 2007. The terroir consists of ‘graves’, very thick layers
of gravel. The vinification techniques are ultramodern. Stéphane Derenoncourt
and Nicolas Thienpont are responsible for the vinification together with
Christophe Labenne (grandson of the previous owners). This cru is ripened on
50% new oak. Highly recommended!
