This wonderful
property located in a park of 240ha in the village Labarde has a planting of
80ha of vines. The Dutchman Eric Albada Jelgersma (of Ch. du Tertre) manages
and runs the domain. Completely different from Ch. du Tertre, Ch. Giscours is a
very masculine wine with a great concentration and a good dose of tannins but
also rich in fruits. You’d better grant it some rest for 5 to 8 years in your cellar,
so the great portion of cabernet sauvignon can develop to its fullest. Afterwards, Ch. Giscours becomes a real delicacy.
