Château d’Arsac belongs to Mr. Philippe Raoux
since 1986 and it contains about 112ha. The château is one of the few chateaus
of which 52ha was promoted in 1995 to the appellation Margaux (before Haut
Médoc) by INAO, who controls and manages the appellations. Besides, the chateau
is special because Mr. Raoux has renovated the chateau in a very modern way.
Finally, the garden and the chateau contain different contemporarymasterpieces. In
contrast with the modern style of the chateau, the style of the wine is very
classic and fresh and is advised by Eric Boissenot, same consultant as Ch.
Margaux, Ch. Lafite & Mouton Rothschild and Ch. Latour.
