Ch. d’Agassac is almost a fairy-tale château
with a vineyard of 43ha in Ludon (Haut Médoc), close to Ch. La Lagune and Ch.
Cantemerle. The terroir, a beautiful slope with deep clay-gravel is of
excellent quality. The chateau belongs to Groupama Assurances and the director
Jean Luc Zell is currently in charge and has been striving for strong
qualitative improvements for several years. A major restructuring of the
vineyard, many available old vines and the advice of Mr. Stéphane Derenoncourt
contribute to a very nice quality in the last vintages. The price remains reasonable.
