This vineyard was
already worked by the Trevey de Charmail family, who gave their name to the
chateau, in the 17th century. The terroir of 30ha is perfectly situated on the
border in the north of St. Estèphe in the town of St. Seurin de Cadourne at the
Gironde. The chateau is situated next to Ch. Sociando Mallet, also a very
qualitative Haut-Médoc. Olivier Sèze has run the domain for 30 years and then
sold it to Mr. Bernard d’Halluin (who is still helping with the exploitation)
in 2008. The wine has a very good storage potential.
