Since 2019, this château belongs to “Treasury Wine
Estates”, who has quite some experience in making wine because of their other
vineyards in Australia, New Zealand, America and Italy. Before, the château
belonged to Mr. Jean-Pierre Marie (between 1996 and 2019). The terroir is
beautifully situated between Ch. Cantemerle and Ch. Giscours, two great wines.
A part of the vineyard borders the appellation Margaux. The château is advised
by Hubert de Bouard of Ch. Angélus. The yields are very low, year after year,
the quality is very good. In July 2018, the château obtained the HVE 3
certificate (High Environmental Value), what proves a permanent care for
maintenance of the environment and that toxic products are used as little as
possible. It also involves purifying used water and limiting the water usage.
