This beautiful 5th
Grand Cru Classé belongs to one of the greatest and already 170 year-existing traders
of Bordeaux; Dourthe. I still remember the first time that I tasted the wine on
a wine tasting of Union des Grands Crus from Bordeaux where one could taste all
the Haut Médoc wines. At the time, Ch.
Belgrave was one of the most beautiful Haut Médoc wines. This year too, it
proves its superiority. So tasteful and fine as a beautiful St. Julien because
the chateau is the neighbour of Ch. Gruaud Larose and Ch. Lagrange (same
street). We already tasted a 2000 on the domain and it is still sublime.
