Grand Cru Classé Graves
This classified cru
from the Graves is owned by the Kressman family since 1871, a very well-known
family of wine merchants from Bordeaux. The brothers Tristan (general director)
and Loic (technical director) continue the business today. Unfortunately, only
1/5 of the production (10 ha of white against 40 ha of red). Did you know that
the label with its typical golden and black stripes, refers to the cover of an
old tasting booklet of Alfred Kressman from 1929? This booklet still exists and
can be seen at the chateau. It contains tasting notes of wines from millésime 1880 and onwards!
